CASA Will...
- Initiate Electronic Funds Transfer of Federal Payroll tax payments through a designated IRS financial institution. Moneys will be transferred directly from your bank account to an IRS - bank. No moneys are transferred to a CASA bank account. No tax impound - moneys are moved only on the due date.
- Make State, City and County payroll tax deposits as required by the appropriate taxing jurisdiction. These payments will be made via check or electronic debit transfer, initiated by the appropriate taxing agency.
- File all required monthly and quarterly payroll tax forms.
- Assume liability for timely deposits and reporting.
- If an error is caused by CASA, we’ll pay the penalties.
- Provide quarterly and annual statements of deposits reflecting tax deposits and filings.
- Ensure regulatory compliance as tax forms and regulations change.
- Respond to tax agency inquiries.

Client Must...
- Ensure CASA has accurate employer information.
- Ensure CASA has accurate Federal, State and Local Tax ID numbers.
- Ensure accuracy of employee information.
- Assume liability for timely deposits and reporting.
- Ensure that adequate cash is available in your account to pay payroll taxes (no later than the day prior to the due date).
- Ensure that proper authorization has been conveyed to your bank regarding direct debit tax payment transaction
